Broadcom's and NetApp EF-Series NVMe-FC Solution for Oracle Database is now available

NetApp and Broadcom recently published a new NetApp® Verified Architecture: A best practice reference architecture that illustrates an optimally configured end-to-end NVMe NetApp EF-Series system with Brocade switches that can deliver up to 1,000,000 OLTP I/O per second with less than 300 microseconds of latency.  Combining Oracle ASM, NetApp EF600 and Brocade Gen 6 switches gives customers a powerful set of tools to easily scale out storage to meet their performance requirements.

This NetApp Verified Architecture document explains the advantages of using a NetApp EF-Series and Brocade SAN switches to deploy with confidence high-performance Oracle ASM databases on end-to-end NVMe NetApp EF-Series systems with Broadcom’s Emulex HBAs and Brocade® switches.

This is 4th NVA NetApp published with Broadcom/Brocade with more on the way.  Previously published NVAs:
